STAR WARS // Han Solo Story Gets Teaser and Release Date

The beleagured Han Solo Star Wars movie, Solo: A Star Wars Story, has been revealed in a TV spot teaser during Super Bowl LII, and given a release date of the 24th of May in Australia. Watch it below:

The forty five TV spot is only a placeholder for a full trailer release due tomorrow.

The titular Solo is played by Alden Ehrenreich. Other players include Woody Harrelson as Beckett, Emilia Clarke as Kira and Donald Glover as a young Lando Calrissian.

The production has been beset by problems with original directors Christopher Miller and Phil Lord sacked midway by Disney and replaced by acclaimed director Ron Howard (Apollo 13, EdTV, A Beautiful Mind).

Will we see him make the Kessel Run in under 10 parsecs? Well, we can only hope so.
