Directed by Raul Gonzo and shot in Los Angeles last month, the clip features frontman Dallon Weekes and drummer Ryan Seaman.

“Making a video in the middle of a pandemic was a challenge,” says Weekes. “We decided to incorporate a lot of things from the state of the world as it is now. Social distancing, sterile isolation … it all seemed to fit with the song’s themes of wanting to quarantine yourself from toxic people and situations.”

iDKHOW (short for I Don’t Know How But They Found Me), is the project of singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Dallon Weekes. Emo kids everywhere might recognise him from his years in Panic! At The Disco, where he performed as a bassist, keyboardist, backing vocalist, and songwriter.

The project was secretly introduced at a small show in Los Angeles in 2016 but officially debuted with a mainstage appearance at UK’s Reading and Leeds Festival. Since then, Weekes has shared the stage with the likes of Twenty One Pilots, The 1975, Billie Eilish, The Killers, The National and Blink 182.

Since its release last month, Leave Me Alone has racked up over a million Spotify streams. Before this, iDKHOW had racked up over 100 million Spotify streams, and a stack of charting success in the US, including the #1 spot on Billboard’s Heatseekers chart for the 1981 EP.

Razzmatazz is available for pre-order now, catch all the deets here. In the meantime, you can stream or purchase Leave Me Alone through all standard digital outlets.
